To maintain the continuity of our mission, RHP is guided by a board that provides strategic non-operational leadership for the school to ensure an excellent education for current and future Red Hook Playgroup students.

The Board of Directors works closely with the school's Executive Director and leadership team to further the mission of Red Hook Playgroup. Our responsibilities include budgeting, fundraising, strategic planning and legal issues as well as identifying short and long term goals for RHP. We meet approximately eight times a year with smaller committees meeting more frequently. Our membership is comprised of dedicated current and alumni family members who generally serve for two years. New members are nominated in the springtime.
